Felizmina Nancassa

Board Members

Felizmina Nancassa, has a degree in Sociology from the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony (UNILAB). She completed her Bachelor’s degree in the social humanities, in which she has taken a keen and extensive interest.

After returning to Bissau with the goal of applying her knowledge around the phenomena of societal barriers, she sought a master’s degree in public policy, immersing herself in a number of internships, most notably working with the Ana Pereira Foundation which focuses on helping female victims of violence. Felizmina additionally participated in research that focused on Guinean youth and their engagement in politics, led by famed Sociologist Miguel de Barros.

She currently collaborates with UNICEF on a project led by the Associazione Italiana Frantoiani Oleari (AIFO) an organization that focuses on community health.
